Critical Design Review

At 20 May 2015 the HACORD team was invited at ESTEC in Noordwijk to present its last design. The mechanical, electrical and software design up to the the test planning has been discussed with all the experts involved. It was also the last opportunity for us to talk with the experts and other BEXUS teams about some issues.

Andy, responsible for the electrical design of HACORD, went to ESTEC some days earlier to join the soldering course. There he learned how to solder for space purposes. This required skills will appear to be useful in the coming weeks when we start to build our own experiment.

Some days after our review we got message that we passed our Critical design review, which means that the design was frozen since then and that we could start with the construction of the experiment.
